A Member of Rehoboth is a person who is interested in supporting the work of Rehoboth Christian Ministries and who supports the Mission Statement of the Association. Individuals of all ages may purchase memberships. Individuals under the age of 18 are eligible to become Associate Members without voting privileges.

We are frequently asked about the importance or significance of becoming a member of Rehoboth Christian Ministries. Your membership, along with your prayers, can and does affect government decisions when our CEO/Executive Director negotiates funding for the programs that supports individuals who live with disabilities served by Rehoboth Christian Ministries. Rehoboth continues to impress upon our supporting community the importance of a strong membership base and encourages each individual in your family to become a member of YOUR ASSOCIATION!

Your support as a Member enables Rehoboth to:
  • help support individuals with disabilities and their families within your church community by developing and promoting effective programs and services,
  • strengthen its profile as a major Christian service provider in Alberta,
  • to educate and make the public aware of the needs, rights and abilities of people with disabilities.
As a Member, you are entitled to:
  • voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting
  • receive regular updates describing Rehoboth's work (through the Rehoboth Newsletter, or special notices)

Every September, Rehoboth recruits volunteer canvassers to solicit memberships and donations from thousands of supporters from across the Province. This is done via our volunteer Contact People in our supporting church's, through letters sent out to individuals who wish to become or renew their memberships annually.

If you are not contacted by one of our volunteer canvassers in the fall, please take a few minutes to contact us at any of our regional offices or register on our web site.
